Spring Thoughts

Cherie and I just spent a lovely Sunday afternoon on campus. It is beautiful. This has been the most anticipated Spring of my life, perhaps because it was such a long winter. Here are some of the colors of Spring.







I was thinking how beautiful it is here, and how much I feel a part of this campus and Notre Dame, in only one short year. I think I feel a deep connection to this school partly due to its beauty. Cherie and I talked about how a beautiful home connects you to it. We feel that it's important to have a home with similar characteristics; with a home surrounded by beauty. This makes me long to stay here.
