Here are some of the long=awaited NZ pictures. Looking out from our living room at a cruise ship heading out to sea to another port-of-call. Weather has been like this for almost 3 weeks. They say summer is really here. It has seldom rained and the usual green fields are browning. The picture of the handsome dude is when Mom and Dad walked 9 miles along the beach and rocks and cliffs to Devenport risking our lives to go where no man has darred to go since Captain Cook discovered NZ.

Woo-hoo Mom and Dad! You did it, and without tech support from me! The pictures are gorgeous. Can't wait to come visit. As I write this I'm sitting in the living room breathing smoky air. It's relatively cold here, so everyone's got their fires burning and you can feel it in your lungs! But things are good here. It's feeling much more like home.
